I'm afraid of the dark

Not because of darkness

I don't need the light

I just need to sleep

To give my mind a break

Cause my heart can't take

This pain anymore….

But I can't close my eyes

'till the sun starts to rise

So the question is "why?"

Why can't I sleep

No matter how much I try?

 I'm afraid of the night

Cause the begin of the night

Is the start of my fight

The fight with myself

With my thoughts and my fears

And I always lose

And wake up with tears
